Our third child, Francis, received Pediarix (DTap, HepB, ipolio), HIB, and Prevnar all at the same visit on March 13 at about 2:30pm. He behaved as usual in the hours that followed except he grew very tired earlier in the evening. He took breastmilk as usual. His eyes looked so weary but he still tried to give us a couple last smiles. He was in bed at 6:30pm which was at least an hour earlier than his usual bedtime. My husband and I checked him a couple times, the last time being 9:30pm. His sleep was unusually still, he never stirred when I watched him for several minutes. This was also unusual. He never woke up to feed that night. Francis was found dead in his crib at 5:41am the morning of March 14. |
