Dawn Loughborough is NVIC's Director of Knowledge Management. An advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children, she is the mother of a vaccine injured son with dyspraxia and non verbal learning disorder. Dawn joined NVIC in the summer of 2009 to educate others about the risks associated with vaccines so they can make informed health choices. Dawn's responsibilties include managing NVIC's website and developing and coordinating the content delivery, education, knowledge sharing, and collaboration initiaves for NVIC. She works with the IT team of TechStars.NET, which created NVIC's new website made possible by a generous donation from Dr. Joseph Mercola.
Dawn graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Journalism and French. Her professional career began in Information Technology at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where she was an Executive Consultant in SAP, Oracle, and DBS systems implementations at fortune 100 companies for over ten years. She led global program initiatives for professional development and training at the PWC Global Training Centre in the 1990s.
Following her consulting career she became CEO and managing member of a Real Estate Investment firm in Chicago, Il. She also managed an organic culinary herb business at her family's farm in northwest Indiana, where she has hosted organic farm day events for physicians and families caring for children with autism to enable them to network, collaborate, and share their experiences. She currently resides outside of Baltimore, Maryland with her three children.
