Heather L. Maurer is volunteer Director of Sponsorships and Fundraising for NVIC. She is coordinating the sponsorship and fundraising activities for the Fourth International Public Conference on Vaccination to be held October 2-4, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, Virginia.
Heather is an integrated marketing and business development professional with more than 18 years experience working for non-profit organizations and for-profit companies. Heather’s expertise includes legal marketing, fund-raising and marketing for non-profit associations, special events, and public communications. She holds a BA in Journalism from Lynchburg College and a masters in Public Communications from American University.
Heather is the mother to Daisy Jade, 2, and step-mother to Mariah, 13 and Boman, 9.
