AUTISM RESEARCH

Prevalence of autism:
Reviewed the prevalence of autism and autistic spectral disorders in the annual reports of the United States Department of Education to Congress publishing the first report in 1999. In October 2007, reported that according to that data, the prevalence of those disorders is now close to 1 in 67.

Auto-immune causes of regressive autism
Formulated the medical hypothesis: “Maternal vaccination before, during and after pregnancy predisposes to autism” and reported on original research findings at a June 2000 scientific meeting of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Second International Conference of the National Vaccine Information Center.

As a result of a study of nearly 400 mothers who received additional live virus vaccinations as adults, postulated “The failure of certain women to develop or maintain adequate titers after live virus vaccination denotes an immune problem and predisposes their children to autism.”

Vaccine Injury Research
Extensively reviewed pediatric vaccination practices and reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and rendered expert testimony in Court proceedings involving autism, vaccine injury compensation, vaccine injury arbitration and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
