Reaction Registry Wall

Vaccines can sometimes cause injury and death and these risks can be greater for some than others. Since 1982, the NVIC has operated a Vaccine Reaction Registry, which has served as a watchdog on reports submitted to the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). NVIC's Vaccine Reaction Wall is provided for the public to share their vaccine adverse event experiences and are displayed chronologically. Click to view stories about vaccine harassment and vaccine failures.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page for options on reporting vaccine harassment, failures and reactions. When you submit your stories to NVIC your identity will be kept confidential.

I received a shot at my local CVS around 12:30 PM on Tuesday. That night when I went to bed my arm was so sore I could not even put the blanket on it. I did not sleep at all from the pain and the chills. I kept adding more clothes but I could not get warm. My forehead and neck were burning but my hands were freezing. I did take my temperature and I did not have a fever. Every inch of my body ached from my head to my toe and all parts in between. I rested and took Tylenol and by seven at night I finally felt somewhat better. I have not been this sick in over 50 years when I got the flu that one time. I have never had a flu shot since then. I did have my two other Covid shots and follow up shot and had no reaction from them. However, this shot was different. I am so upset that I was this sick. I will never get another vaccine again, no matter what! I might mention that I am 82 and in excellent health, so none of this should have happened. Thank you.

The flu vaccine acted as a repeated immune overstimulation and gave me COVID -- what I thought was influenza but which lasted for over two weeks with the same symptoms I experienced with my first COVID infection of February 2020. I had to use the same means to get rid of it. I had two vaccine shots and a booster to enable me to provide a vaccine certificate to formally participate in social events. This I regret. I was already inoculated by catching COVID along with a number of others in the first instance. I had a DVT burst after the booster. As a dancer for over 50 years, this made no sense.

Was healthy before getting COVID-19 vaccines. Got three shots - all Pfizer - at CVS per my doctor and family's encouragement. I was sick and fatigued after every shot and my blood pressure became low. After the third shot eight months later I got COVID (November 2022) and was sick as a dog for two weeks and couldn't get out of bed. I now pass out without any symptoms like dizziness leading up to passing out. Was hospitalized for two days after passing out one time. My doctor has prescribed blood pressure medication - no effect. My blood pressure remains low. I have now been sent to a cardiologist for EKGs and stress test. EKGs are "normal", but I couldn't finish the stress test and had to be layed down. My blood pressure plummetted. Now I am wearing a heart monitor for a month. I haven't been able to work in three months and may lose my job. I can't work - too fatigued and have fainting episodes. My doctors believe it is related to COVID-19, I believe it started with the vaccines.

My 5 year old got vaccines as required by school. There was redness, swelling, and lump the day following the injection. We returned to the pediatrician several weeks later because the lump and pain did not go away. They told us to keep waiting. Almost 12 months later, the pain and lump has not gone away. The lump will hurt and cause her cry intermittently when it "flares up" and starts itching.
