This is the moving story of a young girl, who suffered brain inflammation and permanent brain dysfunction after a reaction to the DTaP vaccine. She was given DTaP together with six other vaccines at 15 months old.

MUST SEE for anyone who thinks that the vaccine-autism link is a hoax. Autism IS brain damage and brain damage IS what happened to this girl and this family from vaccines. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

I feel for this family and this young daughter. I believe my daughter's Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is from vaccines as well. We have had her in extensive (medical, therapy) classes to help her find ways to help herself. She's been to see a childhood specialist for a number of years. My daughter had persistent ear aches starting almost from birth; her first ear tubes were at the age of 5 months, again at 1.5 yrs, and again at 3 years. She also had her adenoids (3 yrs old) and her tonsils (7 yrs old) out. She was on continuous pharma meds/antibiotics. She caught every childhood illness (other than measles, mumps, polis, chicken pox--all the bad ones, she didn't get) there was to catch from daycare. However, once she had the immunity, she did better once she got to public school.

She's been in speech through the school district (since 3 yrs old)and also in OT/PT for hypotonia (since 4 yrs old), as well as a variety of different places and specialists we've taken her to ourself in order to find her the help she needs. We are fortunate in that we live in a school district with a WONDERFUL special ed department. She is currently done with OT/PT but still has speech (she's in the 6th grade).

Our daughter isn't as bad off as the girl here; my hands are off to this family and all they've done with their daughter.

I took my daughter to a naturopathic doctor when she was seven because I was having some health issues myself. We discovered we both had severe heavy metal toxicity and we both had to chelate a number of times before our "levels" came back down to normal. I was 40 yrs old at the time; my daughter was 7 years old and was MORE TOXIC than I was!!!

That was when we turned to alternative medicine, organic food (trying to get away from processed, manmade foods, fast food), reverse osmosis water, and trying to get away from chemicals and pesticides. We use and take a variety of supplements, herbals, and nutriceuticals. We discovered we have a variety of food allergies and food intolerances and have to buy special-allergen foods, which are more expensive. We are both OFF pharma drugs and do not use any, which I think has helped us enormously, given the side effects every pharam drug has on the body.

When we went on organic food four years ago, my daughter hasn't had even one cold or the flu since then.

We have been able to help our daughter so much just with the changes we've made in our food, water, and lifestyle. But getting rid of the heavy metal toxins from her body made the BIGGEST difference.

So many of Emily's things--kids being loud in school and not listening to the teacher--oh, that really, really is my daughter's pet peeve! My daughter also has the "flight" in the fight or flight response down pat, and we're still trying to get her to quit running away instead of facing the problem head on. My daughter had issues with noise and lights when she was younger. When I take her shopping, and she says anything about the clothes bothering her, we don't buy it because she won't wear it because it "bugs" her. She easily gets upset, then is hard to get to work with you on finding a solution or way to solve or address the problem. She gives up easily. She loves to give hugs and loves receiving them even more. She has the nicest smile and such empathy for people. She wishes people were nicer to each other and that there would be no war/people killing each other.

I could go on and on with a long list of issues that bother or bug my daughter(and also all of the good things I love about her0; suffice it to say that there are quite a few.

I had my daughter in for her 11 yr check up a few weeks ago. This was with a new doctor with a new health insurance company. Right away, they wanted me to give them the green light to give her 4 vaccines--flu, menigitis, HPV, and DTP. I said no, that she and I both have a genetic liver mutation that doesn't allow our bodies to detox or metabolize correctly (discovered when we found out about our heavy metal toxins), and that I spent a lot of money getting the heavy metals out of her body and I wasn't going to put them back in. I also told the doctor that I had spent eleven years getting my daughter to the point where she is now (as well as she is now) and I wasn't willing to go backwards and start all over again.

Then they brought up the shots I NEEDED at MY next doctor appt (a week after my daughter's), and I had to remind the doctor AGAIN that I have a genetic liver mutation that doesn't allow my body to detox or metabolize correctly and I do not and will not take any more vaccines. And neither will my daughter.

I fear it will be a fight and a need to remind the doctor/nurse/medical people EVERY TIME that because of our liver mutation problem, we CANNOT have vaccines! I think my new doctor is finally beginning to understand that. The nurse said she "has" to ask if we want the vaccine, even if it's very clear that both my daughter and myself should NOT have any. And that includes no pharma drug usage for us, which our new doctor, thankfully, understands.

I personally know this family - and can not tell you enough how special they are. Jillian, Frank, Emily, Madison, and John have a very special place in my heart. I love them, and find this video very hard to watch - it's never easy to watch your friend cry and see the hard road they've endured. I hope that this will help people to see another side of vaccines.

I am happy to know she has a little brother and sister, they will be there for her later. Emily is very lucky to have you both as parents, It is a lot of work, and you will never get the recognition you deserve. xx.

My heart goes out to ths family. However, I would encourage them to stay AWAY from pediatricians!! A good naturopath or homeopath would not force the vaccine issue. Many osteopaths will be understanding as well. There are alternatives.

This breaks my heart to watch for Emily and for my son. My son experienced many of the same reactions following the 15 mo DTaP shot. The high pitched screaming, the gait, speech regression, etc. He completely lost his hearing for 2 months. The ENT told us he would never get his hearing back. He didn't respond to anyone. No eye contact. He was in his own world. For 2 long months. We took him to a GI specialist because of bloody stools. The GI called the ped from his office. He spoke so loudly and angrily we could hear him in the examining room. He told the ped to stop giving my son antibiotics and no more shots. Then he came back and told us the same. It was that day that I started researching immunizations. My son hasn't had any since. I really believe that for whatever reason, he is predisposed to vaccine injury like so many other children. I am thankful to God that he has fully recovered. His hearing, his bowels, his overall health. He is a very healthy 6 year old boy now.

Just like the first comment posted with this video, if 9 others vaccines were administered all at once, how was that specific pertussis vaccine was identified as the problematic one?
Regardless of which one of those vaccines injured this little girl, i feel for her and her loving family.

On September the 18th 2010 I started an inquiry amongst parents of Autistic children

“I am compiling a list of children who were adversely affected by any vaccine. Please if you could say in about 4-6 sentences what that vaccine was, how they reacted, how they are today and what city the vaccine was administered.”

The problem is that most parents don't realise that vaccination is a dangerous fraud and an organised criminal enterprise dressed up as disease prevention by means of junk science. Vaccines have never prevented anything, apart from health, sanity and common sense.

Thank you Katie! I have been saying this for so long and no one listens! You have the people who want to close their minds to the fact that what THEY DECIDED TO DO might have caused their child's problems instead of just coming to grips with the fact that they just didn't know or believe or understand. I think that is the biggest reason there is a shutdown in the autism community about whether or not their child is vaccine injured or not. Autism is brain damage. No doubt. It is horrible and sad and a CRIME. You know I feel for you Jillian (((HUGS))) I am right there with you.

I really feel for this family. I have an 11 year old son who is diagnosed with PDD. It's a daily struggle. People have to live with this to believe it.
My son also woke one morning dragging his leg when he was about 3 years old. A few monthes later he was diagnosed with PDD. The mercury in the vaccines settle in the children's joints.
Shame on the pediatricians for not educating themselves pertaining to the vaccines! People have to be their own advocates because it is the parents who live with this everyday for the rest of their lives!

This is so maddening! 3 days after these shots, PLUS the chicken pox vaccine, I `lost' my son. He just `shut down’. Fever? `Just a mild reaction to the vaccines' the doctor said...somewhat true, and painful, prolonged crying for hours. He suffered extreme sensitivities to light, sound and textures. He sat inside small, dark boxes for hours with nothing but his imagination. I remember the struggles with the socks twisting and no denim until 11 years old. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s and cognitive learning disorders.
Last week I had to provide a `Religious Exemption' because his school flatly refused a medical exemption. Required booster DTap...over my dead body! His pediatrician offered the shots individually but when I asked him if he could guarantee me that nothing would go wrong, he couldn’t. He then made me sign a `hold harmless agreement’ just in case my son gets meningitis or pertussis. He still refuses to commit to the fact that my son had an adverse reaction to the vaccines he received. This is why there is little evidence because the medical profession does what they are told to do and very often they don't report when something goes wrong. By covering their eyes and covering their butts, other innocent children will suffer.
I admire the way dad supports his wife and family on this. My husband (dad) still thinks this is ridiculous. He belittles and sabotages my efforts. My son and I are gluten and casein free and it has lifted the fog for us. I chose to do this diet with him, to support him. It would be nice if my husband supported me.
I am angered and frustrated. This is all too real and so not worth the risk.

These people seem so intelligent and they have obviously done fantastically in helping their oldest child progress after her vaccine injury. So, how could they have decided to vaccinate another child with Dtap after the experience of the first child and after reading the abundant literature on childhood vaccine reactions? I am shocked that they allowed themselves to be swayed by the Big Pharma propaganda and the ego problems rampant among physicans. My pediatrician told me in 1986 that he would not treat my son without vaccinations and I laughed and walked out of his office and promptly found a physician that would see my son. Be strong people!!!

You are so right Alice. Parents should not be afraid to say "NO"to the shots, especially is they know how harmful it is to their children. My son had Asthma for the first 3 years of his life. When it came to the point that the doctor advised us to try the " Last resort" a combination of cytotoxic drugs, antibiotics and steroids, I finaly said enough is enough. I was convinced that doctor had no clue what he was doing. I took my son to a naturopath ( he helped an elderly friend with her liver failure)In about 3-4 month my son no longer required puffers. Needless to say I never gave him those drugs ( I call them the atomic bomb).
My son is now 13 and still doing well.
