Every May, families throughout America celebrate “Mother’s Day” in honor of the women who nurture children from infancy to adulthood. More mothers today – one in four being single mothers - are raising children suffering with chronic disease and disability than in generations past, and an unknown number of those serious health problems develop following the 72 doses of 17 vaccinations given to children starting on the day of birth and throughout childhood.

Yet mothers witnessing their children’s health deteriorate after vaccination are being gaslighted and branded as a threat to the public health and safety if they use their intellect, listen to their mother’s instincts and question one-size- fits-all vaccine policies and laws.

Mothers are being thrown out of doctor’s offices and their children are being denied medical care for declining even one of the six dozen doses of government recommended vaccines or if they want to use an alternative vaccination schedule. In the virtual public square online, mothers are being censored for talking about what happened to their children after vaccination.

About NVIC's Guardian Angel of Freedom

Now, I want to tell you about the guardian angel of freedom standing at the center of the Truth andFreedom Monument that NVIC co-founder Kathi Williams and I unveiled and dedicated on Mar. 25, 2023 in Cape Coral, Florida on land donated by holistic health pioneer Dr. Joe Mercola.

They had no voice, they had no choice.

No forced vaccination. Not in America

These engraved inscriptions appear on four sides of the marble pedestal on which the silver bronzed guardian angel of freedom stands at the center of the Truth and Freedom Monument created and being sponsored by the National Vaccine Information Center. The angel is seven feet high with a wingspread of nearly five feet and holds up the light of truth with her left arm and, in her right arm, holds a baby symbolizing the future of humanity, reminding us of our duty to protect our children.

Surrounded by palm trees, green grass, flowers, and water reservoirs at the Mercola Market, behind the angel is a semi-circle of three white marble arches engraved at the top with quotations. Above the center arch is an inscription from the Bible – The truth will set you free – a phrase that is also found in contemporary academic settings affirming freedom of thought and the power of knowledge.

There are monuments all over the U.S. honoring those who have fallen in wars throughout the history of our nation. Until now, no monument has been built to honor the casualties of one-size-fits-all mandatory vaccination policies and to affirm the human right to autonomy and protection of bodily integrity.

NVIC's Over Four Decades of Public Service and Education

For four decades, I have been publicly warning that the time would come when Americans would not just be blocked from getting a school education, but would not be allowed to hold a job, receive medical care, board a plane, or move about freely in public without showing proof of vaccination. After COVID shots were being required during the COVID pandemic of fear declared in 2020, my prediction of Orwellian authoritarian control became a reality.

Millions of people living in multiple states were locked down in 2021, and there was an attempt by government officials to require proof of COVID shots as the passport to participating in society, while freedom of speech was censored in the virtual and physical public square for the purpose of stifling all dissent.

America Rejected COVID 19 Vaccine Mandates and Passports

Because NVIC has been on the frontlines of the vaccine culture war for four decades educating the public and working in state legislatures with families to background lawmakers about the need to secure and defend vaccine informed consent rights, no state legislature enacted a COVID vaccine mandate or COVID vaccine passport in 2021 and 2022.

The U.S. was one of the few developed countries that rejected COVID vaccine mandates and passports. That would not have happened without NVIC’s four decades of education and consistent advocacy ringing the warning bell about the dangers of vaccine mandates.

Our children are the future. For many years, I dreamed of creating a monument to honor the lives of those children who had no voice and had no choice and have been harmed by “no exceptions” mandatory vaccination policies.

When World Health Organization officials at the United Nations declared in 2019 that “vaccine hesitancy” had become one of the top threats to global public health, it set off a feeding frenzy by the corporate owned media partnered with governments, Big Pharma and Big Tech to demonize anyone opposing forced vaccination policies. Dissenters were punished with censorship and discrimination for exercising freedom of thought, speech and conscience.

Having watched civil liberties erode with each passing decade, in 2019 I began designing the Truth and Freedom Monument with my daughter, Jessica, who is a professional illustrator and drew the angel that inspired the artists casting the statue in bronze under the supervision of Fines Gallery in Bonita Springs, Florida. The monument installation was delayed when Hurricane Ian hit Cape Coral in the fall of 2022, but it was completed in time to commemorate the launching of the vaccine safety and informed consent movement in April 1982.

It honors those civil liberties and human rights that protect against tyranny: freedom of thought, speech, conscience and assembly.
