Americans Defending Liberty for 250 Years

Liberty: the state of being free.¹ Freedom: the power to determine action without confinement or physical restraint. ² Autonomy: the state of being independent and self-directing. ³ 

On July 4, 2026, the American people celebrate 250 years of liberty. Our natural right to liberty was defined in the Declaration of Independence signed on July 4, 1776 by the founders of the United States of America. ⁴ That document and the U.S. Constitution containing the First Amendment Bill of Rights ratified 15 years later, ⁵ established the USA as a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. In a democracy citizens are subject to the absolute rule of the majority. But in our representative Constitutional Republic, citizens are guaranteed the exercise of inalienable natural rights which limit the power of the state and protect minorities from being used and abused by the majority. ⁶

Our Constitutional Republic was designed to protect the autonomy and liberty of individuals whether they belong to the majority or a minority. But, today, when it comes to laws requiring citizens to consume biological products that can cause injury and death, that is not how it is working. 

Today, the majority in power in federal and state governments have imposed their will on individuals, who object to being coerced and compelled to inject, swallow, or inhale commercial biological products containing lab altered viruses and bacteria, chemicals, metals, ⁷ aborted fetal cells, ^{8 9} animal and human DNA,¹⁰ and messenger RNA coated in lipid nanoparticles ^{11 12 13} as the price of getting an education, ¹⁴ accessing health care, ¹⁵ holding a job, ¹⁶  or otherwise fully functioning in society. ¹⁷

Our liberty is being taken away, one mandated pharmaceutical product at a time. ¹⁸

Freedom: What It Does Not Mean

As we celebrate America’s 250^th birthday and count the blessings of living in a Constitutional Republic that was founded on the principle of liberty for all, it is a time to reflect upon what it means to be free. Certainly, freedom does not mean being compelled to offer up our bodies or the bodies of our children for genetic manipulation and biological alteration in service to the majority in control of the state.

Freedom does not mean being forced to take the knee and worship at the feet of medical doctors and scientists in government, medical trade and industry, who believe they should have the authority to not only define what is true - but also what is good – and who refuse to acknowledge the God-given right of the people to use reason and exercise conscience and religious beliefs when making life and death decisions about  medical risk taking. Freedom does not mean allowing government officials and their corporate business partners to censor the speech and punish those who disagree with them about public health laws that coerce and sanction people, who refuse to have their bodies corrupted by biological products that can injure and kill.¹⁹

As children growing up in America, the concept of the right to liberty has always been foundational to understanding our country’s history.  So how did we as a country, which was founded on protection of individual liberty, ever agree to give up autonomy and the right to protect our body from harm as the price for being allowed to function in society?

Forced Smallpox Vaccination: A Tool to Take Away Liberty   

The answer to that question goes back to the 19^th century, when medical doctors collaborated with chemical companies and the new public health profession cleaning up unsanitary conditions in crowded cities to convince lawmakers to legally require Americans - young and old - to scratch the dirty, notoriously reactive live smallpox virus vaccine into their arms. ²⁰ Teeming with cow and horse pox pus and provoking inflammatory responses during a smallpox-like infection that could unpredictably spiral out of control, the smallpox vaccine was especially feared by mothers and fathers who watched too many children lose their health and their lives after getting it.²¹ 

The medical doctors, who aggressively pushed the smallpox vaccine on healthy people, and the chemical companies profiting from selling that crude brew, and government officials enthusiastically demanding that everyone accept it, all used vaccination as a community organizing and behavior control tool to place restrictions on individual liberty. Driven by ideology and completely ignoring the side effects of smallpox vaccine, they justified violating an individual’s natural right to autonomy by invoking the theoretical need to restrict the liberty of unvaccinated persons in order to protect the safety, happiness, prosperity and security of the state. ²²

The Slippery Slope to Tryanny 

The utilitarian 1905 Supreme Court decision in Jacobson v Massachusetts granted state legislatures the legal right to use police powers to mandate smallpox vaccine and override freedom of thought, conscience and the religious beliefs of those refusing the use the product. ²³ That morally flawed utilitarian ruling paved the way for an evil eugenics ruling in Buck v. Bell in 1927. ²⁴ Using the forced vaccination precedent established in the Jacobson case, Supreme Court Chief Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes gave states the green light to forcibly sterilize certain citizens – mostly women – after government officials declared them to be genetically or morally “unfit” and a threat to the safety, prosperity and security of the state. ²⁵

That Supreme Court ruling endorsing eugenics was taken by Hitler and implemented in its most extreme form during World War II. ²⁶ It is a classic example of the slippery slope that can easily happen when political ideology drives one morally flawed action that gives birth to another more horrific one, especially when it has the force of law behind it.

What began with a mandate for just one vaccine – smallpox – has exploded over the past century into mandates for dozens of doses of vaccines and other genetically engineered biological products labeled vaccines.^{27 28} The total effect of repeatedly atypically manipulating the human immune system and provoking inflammatory responses in the body starting on the day of birth is only beginning to be fully understood, as the past two generations of over-vaccinated children in America are suffering with brain and immune dysfunction ^{29 30 31 32 33 34}   that is compromising the quality of their lives and will undoubtedly shorten them.

No Freedom More Worth Defending Than Autonomy 

When the body and brain are compromised, when we cannot think clearly and manage our emotions, or move through the day without being in constant physical pain, we have difficulty making well informed choices and our souls struggle to have free expression. God gave us free will and the journey we take on this earth is defined by the choices we make. If we are not free to make choices, the journey is not our own. And the choices we make that involve risk of harm to our physical bodies, which houses our mind and spirit, those are among the most profound choices we make, and why we must be free to make them.

The founders of our Constitutional Republic fought so hard to guarantee liberty for us, and when we allow it to be taken away, we become nothing more than slaves serving those in control of an authoritarian state.

This July 4, we are called to reflect upon what liberty really means and why there is no freedom more worth fighting for than the freedom to decide for what reason we are willing to risk our lives or the lives of our minor children. Please think about what life in America will be like if we don’t act now to protect autonomy and secure the legal right to protect bodily integrity, which is embodied in the ethical principle of informed consent to medical risk taking, including vaccine risk taking. 

AI and The Potential for Loss of Liberty 

As we witness artificial intelligence being harnessed by corporations and governments,³⁵ to exert more control over our minds and bodies so our every move and thought can be revealed, ^{36 37} and our vaccination status embedded into our bodies and tracked, ³⁸ and our financial security and independence restricted, ^{39 40 41 42}  and our bodies genetically modified with mRNA and DNA manipulation technology without our true informed consent, ^{43 44} and decisions about whether we are candidates for voluntary or involuntary euthanasia can be made by digital algorithms, not humans ⁴⁵  - the potential for abuse of the trust and good will of the American people is immeasurable. If we bury our heads in the sand and do not resist now, the oppression we experienced during the COVID pandemic response is nothing compared to what will be done to us in the name of protecting the public health, safety, prosperity and security of this country in the future. 

The two-century debate about vaccination is more about liberty and who has the power to decide what is done to our bodies and the bodies of our children than it is about science. The courts won’t save us. The federal government won’t save us. Only by electing good people in all 50 state legislatures, who will refuse to be captured by industry and medical trade and have the wisdom and courage to repeal vaccine mandates, can we set the people free from the chemical chains that bind them.

NVIC Educating In States Since 1982, Advocating for Vaccine Freedom Since 2010 

Since 1982, NVIC has been on the ground educating citizens and lawmakers where vaccine laws are made and unmade in these United States. Especially since 2010 after we launched the free online NVIC Advocacy Portal, NVIC has led the way by monitoring, analyzing and reporting on state vaccine-related bills that either threaten or protect your legal right to exercise voluntary decisions about vaccination without being sanctioned by anyone for the choice made. ^{46 47 48} 

If NVIC had not stayed the course and educated four generations of Americans about the dangers of forced vaccination, in 2021 there would have been a COVID shot mandated for children in every state. Instead, vaccine-educated lawmakers at the state level refused to do it. ⁴⁹ No state legislature voted to require school children to be injected with that genetically engineered, cell and gene disrupter COVID biological that turns the body into a synthetic mRNA spike protein manufacturing plant. ^{50 51} 

Since then, the medical trade groups and corporations financially benefiting from the public-private business partnerships propping up the Public Health Empire ⁵² have circled the wagons. They are trying to undo recent constructive changes made at the federal level to reduce the numbers of government recommended childhood vaccines. ⁵³ Baring their teeth, the real agenda of forced vaccination proponents is being exposed and it is clear that agenda is not about protecting the health of Americans. It is about protecting the status quo so we can continue to be forced to ask a medical doctor for permission to decline a vaccine or be drummed out of society.

Nobody should be forced to beg a doctor or government official or anyone else for the human right to exercise voluntary, informed consent to medical risk taking because there are no exemptions to informed consent.

Colorado Sanctions Unvaccinated Autistic Children But Other States Pass Good Vaccine-Related Bills

Just last month, the state of Colorado voted to force multiple vaccines on special needs children, including autistic children, who are receiving Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. ⁵⁴ A significant number of children in need of ABA regressed into autism after vaccination and are suffering with chronic inflammation in their bodies, which is the hallmark of brain and immune system dysfunction. ^{55 56 57} The ignorance and cruelty of targeting fragile, children already coping with chronic inflammation in their bodies and forcing them to take more vaccines that provoke more inflammation ^{58 59 60} as the condition for receiving therapy is beyond belief.

It is a warning sign of what could be coming soon -  for all of us.

Yet at the same time, state lawmakers in Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma ⁶¹ listened to their vaccine educated constituents and, with NVIC’s advocacy, passed a bill mandating that vaccination records be reviewed and included in investigations into sudden and unexpected deaths in children. This demonstrates the heightened awareness about vaccine side effects among many state lawmakers. Good bills addressing other vaccine-related issues also have been signed into law in states like Iowa, Idaho and Utah.  

Smart, consistent, responsible grassroots action can make a difference in this Constitutional Republic composed of 50 states with 50 different kinds of public health laws that can be changed to be more representative of the values and beliefs that guard liberty.

Acting Now, Teaching Our Children How to Defend Liberty

The struggle to defend and protect individual liberties has never really gone away since the founding of the United States of America 250 years ago because liberty is a threat to those who want to control other people for power and profit. So it is up to each one of us to do something every day to defend the freedoms we too often take for granted, and to teach our children and grandchildren how to fight the good fight so they can teach their children and grandchildren how to do it too.

On this 250^th celebration of independence, be the one who never has to say you did not do today what you could have done to change tomorrow.
