Biography, Carolyn Hendler, JD
Carolyn Hendler, JD is Director of Operations. She is responsible for developing community outreach and volunteer programs, special event planning and coordination, donor acquisition and retention, and managing NVIC’s headquarters office operation.
She is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law class of 2000 and the University of Vermont. Carolyn’s legal background includes civil litigation, business law and real estate transactions. Her court experience includes both trial and appellate court. She ran a family law practice in New Jersey for 10 years.
Carolyn has volunteered for numerous political campaigns and the Arlington Commission on the Status of Women.
Carolyn’s ongoing recovery from multiple vaccine reactions, including reactions to a series of HPV vaccinations, led her to research and analyze the risks and prevalence of vaccine adverse reactions. While she was an NVIC volunteer, she co-authored an article with Barbara Loe Fisher on mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) for The Vaccine Reaction.
A Mom with two wonderful sons, she lives in Northern Virginia.
